The MartinLogan Dynamo 800X powered subwoofer is designed to deliver superb extension and room-shaking output. Featuring a 600-watt peak-power amplifier, 10-inch audiophile-grade woofer, and extensive input options, the Dynamo 800X ensures a compelling music and home theater experience.

The subwoofer offers left and right input via RCA line level as well as speaker-level connections, and adds a discrete LFE RCA line-level input. An optional SWT-X Wireless Subwoofer System (sold separately) provides wireless connectivity, utilizing the latest wireless audio transmission technology for easy installation and no external power source or audio connections required.

The advanced-design woofer with an inverted surround maximizes excursion clearance in front-firing mode and reduces airflow-related turbulence in down-firing configuration, resulting in an articulate and detailed low-frequency experience. The Dynamo 800X also features built-in ETC (Energy Transfer Coupler) spikes to enhance stability on thick carpets or create tighter coupling between the subwoofer and the floor.

The MartinLogan Sub Control app, using a Bluetooth connection, simplifies the setup of the Dynamo 800X. The app offers controls for volume level, low-pass filter, phase, 20–30Hz level, three preset listening modes, and Anthem Room Correction (ARC). The ARC feature measures low-frequency sound output in the room and compares it to optimal response curves, effectively removing anomalies for a realistically blended, natural-sounding bass.

The Dynamo 800X's advanced Ultra-Efficient Switch Mode Power Supplies and Class-D Amplifiers operate with extremely low levels of distortion, delivering dynamic impact with plenty of overhead. The use of the Inverse Mathematical Equalization (IME) filter yields an extremely accurate low-frequency response, superior to that provided by typical second-order high-Q filters.

Built with outstanding features, the Dynamo 800X looks as good as it sounds. Its sealed, non-resonant cabinet with extensive internal bracing provides a stable foundation for the woofer, keeping cabinet-induced resonances and non-linearities to inaudible levels. The subwoofer's robust connection options, including RCA and speaker-level inputs, 12V Trigger, and simultaneous LFE and two-channel connections, make it a versatile addition to any music or home theater system.
